Condition: Good inside and out. The two-tone gray colors are original; they have not been painted over or touched up. There are spots of slight discoloring on the shell and the lid. (See the provided pictures.) The plastic lid—which attaches easily and securely—is also in good condition. Although it is common for the corners of the plastic shell and the plastic lid of these 1960s typewriters to exhibit cracks, there are no cracks on this machine's shell or lid.
Details: This typewriter could be put to immediate everyday use. It types well, with the keys moving smoothly and freely. Also included is a new black ribbon and a copy (not the original) of the Adler Tippa S Instruction Handbook. A portable, it is easy to carry by the handle on its lid. It fits nicely just about anywhere a laptop computer does!
All-in-all, this is a very nice, fully functional, 59-year-old typewriter.
